DECEMBER EVENT ASSISTANTS WANTED

Love parties? Interested in earning some extra cash before Christmas? Want to get experience in the events industry? Then read on. Red is looking for an Events Assistant to join us throughout December, helping with our fun casino and photobooth parties.

The Events Assistant will be required to work most Friday and Saturday evenings. For photo booth hires, you’ll be assisting more experienced colleagues in setting up the equipment, showing guests how to use the photo booths, keep the area safe and tidy and packing up at the end of the night. Some heavy lifting is involved.

On casino nights, you will again be helping to set up our tables. You’ll also help the games run smoothly by assisting the croupiers. We’ll ask you to shuffle the cards, sort chips and manage the distribution of fun money. You’ll also learn how to deal some of the less complicated games, such as the Money Wheel.

Applicants should be personable and presentable. We work at people’s parties and need to bring positive energy, discretion and a good work ethic. Many of the parties we attend are themed (1920s, James Bond, Las Vegas etc.) and require us to dress up appropriately. Uniforms will be provided and we ask that applicants have no visible tattoos.

Because of the late finishes, we require applicants to be over 18 years old. Being a driver is advantageous, but we can provide transportation to and from our base in the Fengate area of Peterborough. Starting pay rate is £8 per hour during training, but we will offer a large premium for any working on Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve.

This job is for December only (with some training in late November) and on a casual basis, however we would be confident that further (but less frequent) casual shifts could continue for the right person into 2018.

Went to a Star Wars /Sci-fi party, the backgrounds and props were excellent in the photo booth, kept my 9 year old son entertained all night , great fun , excellent to have at any event.

Communication before the event with Paul was fantastic, and we were really impressed with the design that he came up with based on our feedback. Communication before the even was excellent. Would highly recommend.
