Magic Selfie Mirror – book now for 2017 dates

After some trial events in the latter part of 2016, our Magic Selfie Mirror is now available to book in 2017.

The mirror has proved a smash hit at weddings and other parties and as such we’re training more staff in the operation of the equipment to ensure that we’re able to cope with the extra demand in the summer.

In case you’re not already aware, the Magic Mirror is a new kind of photo booth that, when switched off, looks like a nice full length mirror. Switch it on though, and behind that one way glass is all kind of wizardry that turns it into the coolest photo booth out there. It’s operated by a touch screen and talks to (or rather flatters) its guest. Like a regular photo booth, you can take a single or multiple shot, but unlike our closed booths you can also personalise your picture by writing or drawing your own message. It’s loved by adults and kids alike. Want to see it in action? Check out this video below.

Talking of kids, what makes the mirror so awesome is that it can be used easily by adults and kids alike. Kids love the regular photo booth but the trouble with that is that it is difficult to get children and adult in the same shot unless you hold them up or get them to stand on a stool. After all, the camera height is always going to be fixed, and grown ups and little ones are inevitably different sizes.

The great thing about the mirror is that it has no physical walls behind it, so guests can go as close or as far away from the screen as they want in order to get their shot, so kids can stand in front and adults can go behind. Or large groups can stand away from the mirror to get everyone in – if they can see themselves in the mirror then the camera can see them.

It’s all great fun and has proved a worthwhile addition to the Red range. As a bonus, it’s also smaller and can be used in venues where a regular photo booth is too big – and it takes a bit less time to set up too.
